5. Rent A Golf Buggy

The best way to explore Hamilton inland is through Golf Buggies since the island does not allow cars to ride.

10. Watch the Sunrise from Passage Peak

To see the beautiful sunrise at Hamilton Island, trek to Passage Peak. The hiking trail starts at Hideaway Bay Entrance or Resort Trail Entrance, next to the Reef View Hotel.

The hiking tour takes approximately 90 minutes, but the breathtaking views from the topmost point of the Whitsundays are worth it. You can also spot the Hill Inlet lookout and the Whitehaven beach from the highest point of Passage Peak.
