If you are looking for the perfect vacation destination, this is a paradise on earth that you must visit. It is on many tourists’ bucket lists, and this is a country they are happy to return to once they visit it. If you’re considering a Thailand holiday this article is for you.

Briefly about this destination

Thailand is a kingdom located in Southeast Asia, the capital is Bangkok, and it has a population of slightly more than 71 million people, with over 51 million visitors per year from tourism. The economy is related to various types of industry, from the production of toys, plastics, electronics, food, vehicles, and furniture, with the fact that the strongest branch of the economy is still tourism.

How to find accommodation?

This country is one of the most financially favorable, although it offers numerous opportunities as well as the most expensive destinations in the world. Here you can find quite cheap accommodation where the hostel will cost you 25$ per person with all benefits such as food, alcohol, and excursions.

Of course, some places are much more luxurious, such as high-category hotels, bungalows, and private apartments, for which you will have to spend up to several thousand dollars. Here are some ethical places you can visit in Thailand.

Mandatory travel insurance

If you are traveling anywhere, you must take out travel insurance, especially if you are coming to Thailand. In this way, you will be protected and all costs will be covered if, God forbid, an injury occurs. There are many agencies at your disposal where you can get insurance, and it is up to you to choose the one that suits you.

How to travel by land

You have to be prepared for chaos, crowds, and a multitude of different means of transport moving on the roads. If you have a driver’s license, you can rent a car or a scooter, however, if you are not used to this type of traffic, it is a better option to rent a private driver than to take risks.

Hiring a driver is not expensive, and they will take you and wait for you wherever you go sightseeing. If you are somewhere on the island, you can rent a scooter or bicycle, or move by boat.

Delicious local food

With many different dishes and spices prepared your way, you will have the most delicious experience. When it comes to spices, ask the locals which ones might be the best to try for the first time and gradually explore the others. Seafood is one of the tastiest, everything is fresh and prepared in front of you. At every step, you have small local restaurants where you can take a break from exploring the surroundings and refresh yourself.

Places  that will leave you in awe

Bangkok

This capital city is bustling, loud, and pleasant and will leave you speechless with its nightlife and architectural masterpieces. There are many temples and palaces here that you must visit to experience their culture at its best. One of the must-sees is the Grand Palace, a complex of buildings in which there is a 46-meter-tall Buddha that is completely covered with golden leaves.

Chiang Mai

Surrounded by an incredible landscape of green and mystical mountains and numerous ancient architectural structures. Since this place is located in the jungle, you will have the opportunity to see rich and diverse animal and plant life. Famous for its temples.

Koh Samui

One of the paradises for resting, swimming, sunbathing, and staying in the dense shade of palm trees that tower several meters above while enjoying drinking a cocktail. The beaches are made of wonderful fine white sand, which especially emphasizes the shades of the beautiful turquoise color of the sea. Here you can visit numerous temples, buildings, spa centers, and resorts.

Phuket

This is one of the most famous destinations and recognized places that tourists come to visit. Nature, beaches, and the sea leave everyone breathless. Nature is reflected in the sea, how clean it is and you have the feeling while traveling by boat that you are floating because the boundary between sky and sea is lost because of the reflection. One of the most famous is Kata Noi and Nai Harn beaches where you can enjoy clean water, and on the top of Nakkerd Hill, there is an imposing Buddha sculpture that is 45 m high and towers over the entire island

Conclusion

If you decide to travel, this is one of the best destinations for the whole family. In addition to being quite financially acceptable, it offers numerous hidden gems, coves, beaches, natural and architectural masterpieces, and a wonderful turquoise sea. If you go, you won’t regret it, and you will decide to come back again, like many other tourists.
